WORLDS OF FUN UNVEILS AN UNMATCHED FALL SEASON: FROM DAYTIME FAMILY FESTIVITIES TO NIGHTTIME HORRORS

Fall Line Up Include the Return of Oktoberfest, Tricks and Treats and Halloween Haunt

Starting this weekend, guests can look forward to an incredible lineup of events that transition from family-focused daytime autumn celebrations to heart-pounding nighttime horror.

New festivities begin Saturday, September 5 with the kickoff of Oktoberfest in the Europa section of the park. Guests can step into a lively Bavarian celebration packed with authentic German food and beverages, toe-tapping music and family-friendly entertainment. Each day kicks off with a festive Keg Tapping Ceremony to officially launch the merriment, followed by spirited challenges andcrafts and activities for all ages. With the cheerful sounds from the live polka music filling the air, Oktoberfest at Worlds of Fun transports guests during this German-themed event. Oktoberfest continues on Saturday, Sept. 12 followed by Sundays, Sept. 20 through Oct. 18.

For those seeking seasonal cheer with a spooky twist, Tricks and Treats, the park’s annual family-friendly Halloween extravaganza returns every Saturday and Sunday Sept. 19 through Nov. 1. The event features mischievous tricks, “skele-TONS” of delicious seasonal-themed food, specialty drinks and trick-or-treating. Young park guests are encouraged to participate in Count Snooptacula’s Costume Contest for the chance to win prizes for the most original, cutest, and scariest costumes.

Starting Saturday, September 19, the park undergoes a sinister transformation into a haunted playground. Guests will trade smiles for screams with the return of Halloween Haunt. The annual terror-filled event features nine haunted attractions, five pulse-pounding live shows, and hundreds of monsters lurking in the shadows.

The past refuses to stay buried as long-lost spirits claw their way back from the grave, resurrected with scary new twists demonstrating that some legends never die. Halloween Haunt runs on selectFridays and Saturdays September 19 through October 31. Haunt will also take place on Sunday, October 25. All park rides, shows and attractions, including all Halloween Haunt experiences are included with admission.
